July 2018 – Prayer Letter

Dear Beloved Brethren,

Greetings and peace and love in the name of our eternal God, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As always, we thank our Lord Jesus Christ for taking us on this glorious journey, a journey of endless joy, speaking to our hearts, answering the call that he has given us and accepted the mission that is ahead of us to do His work according to His ways and will.

As we keep on pressing on this glorious journey, the month of July has been a blessing and productive as well, even though we did not have many formal meetings but Praise the Lord anyway. On Sunday the 1st of July, we were at our home church Tabernacle, as well as Wednesday the 4th. Thursday the 5th, we left for GA and while we were in GA, we visited Calvary Baptist Church, Pastor Johnnie Crawford  in Loganville, GA on the 8th of July, he ask me to call him back in October to confirm a meeting for December, 2018; Pastor Crawford is the new pastor since last October 2017.  On the 10th of July, we headed to Jacksonville, FL at Immanuel Baptist Church, Pastor Greg Neal, for a Mission Conference from the 11th through the 15th of July, 2018.  We were immensely blessed in every way and especially by the Word preached by Dr. Caudill, President and Director of Macedonia World Baptist Missions. On Monday the 16th of July, we headed back to GA to spend time with our families and for a meeting at Macedonia Headquarters on the 17th. While we were in Ga, we visited Berean Baptist Church in Ellenwood, Pastor Alan Sinclair; as a result of this visit, Pastor Sinclair was very gracious and compassionate by inviting us for their Mission Conference in September from the 16th to the 19th, 2018; this conference was an answer to prayers because we had another conference cancelled. Praise the Lord for that, He is Sovereign  and Omniscient!

On the 22nd of July in the morning, we visited Faith Baptist Church, in Stockbridge, GA, Pastor Don Philips, he will present our ministry to the Mission Board for support; and in the evening we went to Pine Grove Baptist Church, Pastor Greg Howell, in Stockbridge, Ga to give an update of where we are and what we are doing; I had the privilege to preach that night, it was a truly a blessing. On Wednesday the 25th, we went to Greater Heights Baptist Church, Pastor Chris Grinstead, in Cumming, GA; Pastor was kind to introduce us to the mission staff with a possibility to go back in September 23rd, 2018 or after the 14th of November to formally present our ministry.  On Tuesday the 31st of July, we headed for South Carolina then North Carolina for meetings and conferences.

We continue praising the Lord for His protection (physical and spiritual) and provision (He knows all our needs) as well as the wisdom that He gives us to do His work. We also praise the Lord that He continues to give us our health so we can serve Him with all the strength that He gives us, to adore Him in spirit and in truth with all our hearts, and to glorify Him in everything that we do, even in sickness and circumstances. The Lord is so Good!

As we press on, please pray and continue to pray for the following prayer request:

  • As we mentioned in our last prayer letter, we urgently are in need of a minivan to finish our journey of deputation; we had to rent a minivan to go to Florida so my wife could stretched her legs because of her blood circulation and varicose veins. As we mentioned previously regarding the cost, we cannot find a decent, reliable minivan for that cost and especially with a low mileage, perhaps between 100k and 150k miles; all the ones we have seen were over (6) six thousand dollars. After speaking to many people, the suggestion was to get a Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna, not new unless the Lord blesses! My beloved Brethren, we don’t have that kind of money and we need a miracle from God! We are humbly pleading for your help!
  • My wife’s physical need with her blood circulation as we traveled. It is very serious! This is the very reason why we need to be on the field by the end of Spring 2019.
  • It is our goal, Lord willing, to be on the field between January and June 2019. We are planning to go next January or February to look for a place to live, as well the property for the ministry, and Lord willing move sometime in the spring. We pray that the Lord will move the hearts of His people to make this happen. We humbly plead to all the churches we have presented, and not supporting us at the moment, to pray, and reconsider in encouraging and partnering with us to proclaim the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by planting New Testament Baptist Churches and establishing Baptist Bible College.

Beloved Brethren, this is God’s work and His ministry not ours; we are servants doing the work of the Almighty God and obeying the Great Commission by Answering the Call and Accepting the Mission that is ahead of us. We are leaving everything behind and renouncing everything for the Gospel’s sake and focusing on what is ahead so we can give glory to our eternal God, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; for Him only!

  • Support Levels

Continue to pray as we are on this glorious deputation journey that the Lord will guide us to the right church and have favor along the way in order to obtain our support as soon as possible according to the Lord’s will. One more church took us on for support, Immanuel Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL, Pastor Greg Neal. Praise the Lord! We are now at 63% and we pray that it will be more by our next prayer letter. Praise the Lord, Glory to God! We keep pressing on that goal for our minds, our hearts and our spirit are in Costa Rica but our bodies are still here. Our Lord is a Sovereign God.

  • Safety with Travels

Pray that our Lord, God would protect us on the road.

In August we will be in North Carolina for a Conference and meetings, also in Virginia for Meetings; September in Virginia and South Carolina for meetings, Georgia and Florida for Conferences; October in North Carolina and Georgia for Meetings and Conferences; November in North Carolina and Georgia for Meetings and Conferences; in December, it’s still open but a possibility to have a meeting in Georgia.

  • Schedule of Meetings

Pray that our schedule will be full with formal meetings and conferences for the rest of the year, some of them have been cancelled but the Lord Has blessed with others. The Lord has blessed with meetings and conferences in VA, NC, SC, GA and FL. Our schedule is not full, but praise the Lord for what He is doing in our lives. He is in control! For now, the Lord is still opening doors for more meetings and conferences in these states and more meetings and conferences for next March 2019 in Florida.

  • Softness of Attitudes

Pray that our hearts would stay soft, to have a humble attitude, to stay close to God, and focus on Him not on men neither our circumstances; also for the churches that we have been in contact with and presented. We are excited to see on how the Lord will be working during the rest of the year, we are also encouraged and at the same time comforted by His provision, protection and peace. Praise the Lord for everything! To God be the Glory, great things He has done, that He is doing and what He will do as we focus our eyes and hearts upon Him.

Thank you for your faithful prayers, kindness and love, but most of all for your sensibility to the Holy Spirit of God whom dwells in you. Again, we have not heard from the doctors and laboratories, perhaps it is good sign; perhaps the Lord has erased these bills, it will be another miracle. The Lord has answered our prayers regarding the hospital bill by not paying the whole amount, He is also able to make another miracle and we pray that He will.  Hallelujah, Praise His Holy Name, He is good, so good!!!

We are deeply grateful for your continued prayers, financial support and being behind our vision to further the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Brethren, may the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the love of the Almighty God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen!

June 2018 – Prayer Letter

Dear Beloved Brethren,

Greetings and peace and love in the name of our eternal God, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As always, we thank our Lord Jesus Christ for taking us on this glorious journey, a journey of endless joy, speaking to our hearts, answering the call that he has given us and accepted the mission that is ahead of us to do His work according to His ways and will.

As we keep on pressing on this glorious journey, the month of June has been a blessing and productive as well. Glory to God, Praise the Lord, Praise His Holy Name! From the 3rd of June through the 27th, we were in Wilson, Charlotte, Salisbury and Rockwell, NC; Braselton, Covington and Lawrenceville, GA for meetings and visiting churches. On the third of June we were at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Wilson, NC, Pastor Joe Shakour; I spoke briefly in the morning and in the evening we presented our ministry. Pastor Shakour invited us back in August from the 8th to the 13th for their Mission Conference. On Wednesday the 6th of June, we visited Bethel Baptist Church in the evening, Pastor Kenneth Fontenot was very gracious by allowing me to speak and share our vision and burden for Costa Rica; that same night, Pastor Fontenot called another pastor in Charlotte, NC to set up a meeting for us; I spoke to Pastor Willie Byrd of New Beginning Independent Baptist Church and he invited us to speak on Thursday the 14th of June; New Beginning Independent Baptist Church is going to have their first Mission Conference in July but we had a conflict with another conference in Jacksonville, Florida; Pastor Byrd will present our ministry for us since we won’t be there, what a blessing! On the 9th of June, we headed to Rockwell, NC for a meeting at Bethel Baptist Church, Pastor John Houghton which was on the 17th of June, we were blessed to stay in their prophet chamber until the 17th of June while we visited other churches in the area. While we were there, on the 10th of June, in the morning, we went to Harbor Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC, Pastor Kenny Simmons, to give an update of our status as their Missionaries; as always we were received with open arms and hearts. In the evening we visited Tabernacle Baptist Church in Salisbury, NC, Pastor Dan Caldwell; he was very gracious allowing to share our calling, vision and burden for our mission field, he also invited us back for their Mission Conference in November of this year from the 8th to the 13th, what a blessing! On Wednesday the 13th of November, we visited West Park Baptist Church in Rockwell, NC, Pastor Billy Sechrist, he also invited us back, again, in November to present our work. Next day Thursday the 14th in the evening, as I mentioned earlier, we went to New Beginning Independent Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC, Pastor Willie Byrd. On the 17th of June, Father’s Day, we were at Bethel Baptist Church in Rockwell, NC, Pastor John Houghton; I had the privilege to speak during Sunday School hour, present our ministry and preached in the evening; as I mentioned earlier, we stayed in their prophet chamber during the whole time we were in the area, it was truly a blessing! That same evening, we headed to Braselton, GA for a four day orientation meeting at Macedonia World Baptist Missions from the 18th to 21st of June; we were truly blessed, it was a time of refreshing and encouragement as we press on this deputation journey. On the 24th of June we went to Canaan Baptist Church in Covington, GA, Pastor Billy Ingram, he will let us know when in August to have a formal presentation to presnt our ministry; Dr. Scott Caudill, the Director of Macedonia World Baptist Missions, was the pastor at Canaan Baptist Church for many years. Wednesday the 27 of June we went to Crossroads Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA, Pastor Kenny Kuykendall; He is a Board Member/President of Macedonia World Baptist Missions; it was confirmed that we will participate in their Mission Conference in November 2018.

  • Urgently, we are in need of a car/van to finish our journey of deputation; we were having problem when we were in Wilson, NC with our car. We will need approximately between 4K and 5K thousand dollars for a decent car/van. We humbly ask for your help and support as we don’t have that kind of money. We have already checked with some people but they are asking about 365.00 dollars a month for a rental, it is a bit expensive and we cannot afford that. We need a miracle from God!
  • My wife’s physical need with her blood circulation as we traveled.
  • It is our goal, Lord willing, to be on the field between January and June 2019. We are planning to go next January or February to look for a place to live, as well the property for the ministry, and Lord willing move sometime in the spring. We pray that the Lord will move the hearts of His people to make this happen.

April 1st, 2018, Resurrection Day of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we were at our home church; it was good to be back after three months on the road. Also, slowly but surely I am getting back on track after being sick in the hospital in Greenville, SC in March. Praise the Lord! On Wednesday the 4th of April, we visited Diamond Springs Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, VA, Pastor Kelly Darnell; Pastor Darnell was voted as pastor last October 2017 when Pastor Skinner went to be with the Lord. Pastor Darnell was very gracious in allowing us to present our work, share our calling, vision and burden for Costa Rica that same evening; it was truly a blessing!

On the 6th of April, we left for a Mission Conference at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Evington, VA, Pastor Brian Warren until the 8th. We were truly blessed with the Word of God preached by Dr. Roger Baker, Field Director to Europe and the Middle East with Macedonia World Baptist Missions and the Brethren of Gospel Light Baptist Church. On Tuesday the 10th of April, we left for Laurens, South Carolina for a meeting at Temple Baptist Church, Pastor David Johnston on Wednesday; (Pastor Johnston is a graduate of Tabernacle Baptist Institute when Pastor Rod Bell was there) what a blessing, the Spirit of God was being manifested there and to God be the Glory! At the end of the service, the church voted to partner with us. Praise the Lord! We stayed in their prophet chamber until Saturday then we left for Lexington, SC for a Conference on Sunday the 15th of April at Calvary Baptist Church, Pastor Steve Cummins, what a blessing again, the Lord is good; the Church voted to partner with us as well. On the 16th of April, we headed for Walterboro, SC for a Camp Meeting at Welch Creek Baptist Church for three days until the 18th. What a blessing to be among God’s people and men of God preaching and standing firmly for the Word; it was a time a refreshing and renewal. As a result of this camp meeting, we made a lot of contacts and meetings in the Low Country area of South Carolina and other States. Praise the Lord! We headed back home to Virginia on the 19th for doctors and dental appointment. We will be in Virginia until the end of the month with our home church and visiting other churches as well in the area of Lynchburg, then heading to North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia for two months for meetings.

As we keep on pressing on this glorious journey, the month of April has been a blessing and productive as well. Three churches have partnered with us. Glory to God, Praise the Lord, Praise His Holy Name!

We continue praising the Lord for His protection (physical and spiritual) and provision (He knows all our needs) as well as the wisdom that He gives us to do His work. We also praise the Lord that He continues to give us our health so we can serve Him with all the strength that He gives us, to adore Him in spirit and in truth with all our hearts, and to glorify Him in everything that we do, even in sickness. The Lord is so Good!

As we press on, please continue to pray for the following prayer request, my wife’s physical need with her blood circulation as we traveled and a constant cough that still lingers and attacks her every now and then.  Also, it is our goal to be on the field between January and June 2019. We are planning to go next January or February to look for a place to live and Lord willing move sometime in the spring! We pray that the Lord will move the hearts of His people to make this happen. We humbly plead to all the churches we have presented, and not supporting us at the moment, to pray, consider and reconsider in encouraging us with support. Beloved, this is God’s work and His ministry not ours; we are servants doing the work of the Almighty God and obeying the Great Commission by Answering the Call and Accepting the Mission that is ahead of us.

  • Support Levels

Continue to pray as we are on this glorious deputation journey that the Lord will guide us to the right church and have favor along the way in order to obtain our support as soon as possible according to the Lord’s will. We are now at 58% and we pray that it will be more by our next prayer letter. Gospel Light Baptist Church in Evington, VA, Pastor Brian Warren; Temple Baptist Church in Laurens, SC, Pastor David Johnston and Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington, SC, Pastor Steve Cummins took us on for support.  Praise the Lord, Glory to God! Our minds, our hearts and our spirit are in Costa Rica but our bodies are still here. Our Lord is a Sovereign God, Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent.

  • Safety with Travels

Pray that our Lord, God would protect us on the road.

In May we will be in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia; June in North Carolina and Georgia; July in Florida and Georgia; August in Georgia and Virginia; September in Virginia, Georgia and South Carolina; October in North Carolina and Georgia; November in Georgia and Virginia; in December, it’s still open for now.

Pray that our schedule will be full with formal meetings and conferences for the rest of the year. The Lord has blessed with meetings and conferences in VA, NC, SC, GA and FL. Our schedule is not full, but praise the Lord for what He is doing in our lives. He is in control! For now, the Lord is still opening doors for more meetings and conferences in these states and perhaps for the first time in Cleveland, Tennessee.

A special thanks to all that were praying for me regarding the hospital bill; I received the invoice from them and it was exactly $19,905.42 dollars, but the hospital is charging me $885.00 dollars and the Insurance and the Hospital took care of the rest. We are still waiting for the doctors’ bill and expecting another miracle. The Lord has answered our prayers. Hallelujah, Praise His Holy Name, He is good, so good!

We are deeply grateful for your continued prayers, financial support and being behind our vision to further the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the love of the Almighty God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen!

March 2018 – Urgent Prayer Letter

Dear Beloved Brethren,

Greetings and peace and love in the name of our eternal God, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As always, we thank our Lord Jesus Christ for taking us on this glorious journey, a journey of endless joy, speaking to our hearts, answering the call that he has given us and accepted the mission that is ahead of us to do His work according to His ways and will.

It was expedient and urgent, at this time, for us to write this Mid Prayer Letter to you, March 2018, instead of waiting until the end of April for our normal time.

On March 1st, we left Lithia Springs, GA, Colonial Hills Baptist Church, Pastor Mark Ernst. After the meeting we headed to Virginia Beach to pack and to leave the next day for a Mission Conference in Madison, VA, Fellowship Baptist Church, Pastor Dale Freeman from the 3rd through the 8th of March.  What a blessing!!! Then we headed down to Greenville, SC on the 10th of March for a meeting on the 11th at Iglesia Bautista de la Fe. I had the privilege to preach and present our work during the morning service and as well during the evening service. It was truly a blessing to preach in Spanish. On Wednesday the 14th of March, we visited Hampton Park Baptist Church in Greenville, SC, Pastor Drew Conley, that’s where our previous pastor from New York City was ordained, we were received with brotherly love and many of the members wanted our information to pray for us and Pastor Conley wanted us to come back that Sunday the 18th, but since we already had a scheduled a conference with Hope Baptist Church in Mocksville, NC, we couldn’t, so he took all our information to give it to the Mission Committee for a meeting.

Now, this is where we were hit an unexpected stumbling block which really started Tuesday night after an evening meal with the brethren of Iglesia Bautista de la Fe. I started feeling sick, being nauseous, having some pain in my stomach, could not stopped burping throughout the whole night and Wednesday it was the same but getting worse; but be it as it may, we went to Hampton Park Baptist Church that evening and after the service, the pain, the nausea and burping was escalating, we stopped by a Walgreen’s Pharmacy to speak to a Pharmacist to get his input on what can I do alleviate the burping, so he told me to try some antacid but that didn’t help; I did not sleep for the whole night, my wife prepared some mint tea hoping the pain and the burping would stop but it did not. By early morning it was getting worse and I started vomiting, diarrhea, nauseated with cold sweats but we didn’t know what to do, not knowing where to go and who to call; so finally the Holy Spirit of God illuminated my wife by contacting the Spanish couple we met at the Spanish Church and they offered their help to bring me to the Emergency room at Greenville Memorial Hospital that Thursday early evening. Upon our arrival about 6:30PM, we waited about 4 hours, but during that time I could not bear the pain anymore until finally, after my wife and sister Michelle, begged the staff for me to be seen and they did. These Brethren stayed with us until 4:00AM.  I was admitted in the hospital for more test at 6:45AM. After all the necessary test were made, the immediate conclusion was that I had a blockage in my intestines and they may have to operate on me; but before that final decision was made, the doctors tried  other possibilities, one was by putting a tube through my nose, esophagus and  down to my intestines to remove all obstructions. With all that being said and done, I was in the hospital until Monday the 19th of March, under observation and more test, and got discharged late that day. According to the doctors’ conclusion, I had Gastroenteritis which is an inflammation of the intestines, stomach virus as the doctor put it “a GI Bug” which could be caused by food poisoning, a virus, etc. A follow up with my doctor in Virginia was strongly suggested as soon as possible in Virginia.

We thank the Lord for Zion Hill Baptist Church, Pastor Danny Moore for his compassionate heart and allowing us to stay in their prophet chamber until the 26th of March to recuperate since we had a presentation on the 25th of March at Unity Baptist Church in Greenville, SC, Pastor J. Earl Green which went very well and we visited Freedom Baptist Church in Greenville, SC, Pastor Todd Page on Wednesday the 21st of March since I was feeling a bit better, Pastor Page was very gracious in, briefly, allowing us to share our calling, vision and burden for Costa Rica, the doors are open for us to go back anytime to formally present our work.  Also, we thank the Lord for the Brethren Antonio and Michelle of Iglesia Bautista de la Fe, Pastor Danny Vasquez for their compassionate heart, giving up their time accompanying us during this time; it was also a blessing to see Brother Doug Carragher, truly an unexpected visit and as well Brother Dr. Dean Hamby and Sister Karen Hamby from Macedonia World Baptist Missions stopping by on their way to Hope Baptist Church in Mocksville, NC that Saturday night for a Mission Conference of which we were supposed to be there as well. There are no words in our mouths on how to express our deepest gratitude to our beloved Brethren who stopped by and all those who prayed for me and my wife during this time.

We left South Carolina on the 27th of March for a follow up appointment with my doctor in Virginia Beach, VA on the 28th of March. The diagnostic was: I had a Norovirus infection. Come to find out, as well, after reading the CT Scan, I had a benign cyst in my liver, .7cm in diameter, nothing to worry about, but needs to be check again after six months to a year. After the medical examination, my doctor said: “It will take you a few weeks to get back on track but you can go back to your normal daily life”. Praise the Lord! On Wednesday the 28th of March, we went to our home church. Perhaps, there are some lessons to be learned during this time; as Romans 8:28 comes to mind: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”. As we keep on pressing on this glorious journey, the month of March, still, has been a blessing and productive as well even though we had some setback along the way. In anyway, Glory to God, Praise the Lord, Praise His Holy Name!

We want to bring to the table of your hearts a special prayer request. The insurance that I have may not cover the days that I was admitted in the hospital since it was out of the network, except for the Emergency room. According to my knowledge, the hospital bill that was presented to me before I was discharged was about $14,000.00 to $16,000.00 dollars +/- of which I know I have to pay at least $1,200.00 dollars; on top of all that, I also will have doctors, laboratories and x-rays bills of which the Insurance will not pay for since it is out of state; to my knowledge as of now the bills could be as high as $6,000.00 dollars or more and I know that I will have to pay at least $4,500.00 dollars on my part or more. Please, my Beloved Brethren, be in prayer for the Lord to make a miracle regarding these bills, especially the hospital bill. I know with the Lord nothing is impossible. It is no surprise but I am in need in paying these bills. My Brethren, I pray and humbly ask what the Lord would have you to do in succoring to these needs; whatever the Lord will put in your hearts. All donation should be sent to Macedonia World Baptist Missions, Medical fund for Jean-Claude Guilbaud. We will forever be thankful and grateful.

As we press on, please continue to pray for the following prayer request, my wife’s physical need with her blood circulation as we traveled and a constant cough that attacks her every now and then.  Also, it is our goal to be on the field between January and June 2019. We are planning to go next January or February to look for a place to live and Lord willing move sometime in the spring! We pray that the Lord will move the hearts of His people to make this happen. We humbly plead to all the churches we have presented, and not supporting us at the moment, to pray, consider and reconsider in encouraging us with support

  • Support Levels

Continue to pray as we are on this glorious deputation journey that the Lord will guide us to the right church and have favor along the way in order to obtain our support as soon as possible according to the Lord’s will. We are now at 55% and it will be more by our next prayer letter. Fellowship Baptist Church in Madison, VA, Pastor Dale Freeman; Maranatha Baptist Church in Yorktown, VA, Pastor Dale Coffey took us on for support.

In April we will be in Virginia and South Carolina; May in North Carolina and Georgia; June in North Carolina and Georgia; July in Florida and Georgia; August in Georgia; September in Georgia and South Carolina; October in Georgia; November in Georgia and Virginia; in December it’s still open for now.

  • Schedule of Meetings

Pray that our schedule will be full with formal meetings and conferences for the rest of the year. The Lord has blessed with meetings and conferences in VA, NC, SC, GA and FL. Our schedule is not full, but praise the Lord for what He is doing in our lives. He is in control! For now, the Lord is still opening doors for more meetings and conferences in these states.

  • Softness of Attitudes

Pray that our hearts would stay soft, to have a humble attitude, to stay close to God, and focus on Him not on men neither our circumstances; also for the churches that we have been in contact with and presented. We are excited to see on how the Lord will be working during the year, we are also encouraged and at the same time comforted by His provision and protection.

We are deeply grateful for your continued prayers, financial support and being behind our vision to further the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dear Brethren,

Greetings and peace in the name of our eternal God, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As always, we thank our Lord Jesus Christ for taking us on this glorious journey, a journey of endless joy, speaking to our hearts, answering the call that he has given us and accepted the mission that is ahead of us to do His work according to His ways and will.

Beloved Brethren, with the New Year upon us and as we focus our eyes and hearts upon Him to do His work according to His ways and will; and as we delight in the LORD, He will give us the desires of our hearts; and as we commit our ways to the LORD: trust in Him, He shall bring to pass (Psalm 37: 4-5).

As we press on this glorious journey, the months of January and February have been a blessing and very productive. Praise the Lord!

On January 2nd, we headed down to Georgia for meetings, conferences and as well visiting churches. What a blessing, Glory to God, Praise the Lord, Praise His Holy Name!!

We continue praising the Lord for His protection (physical and spiritual) and provision (He knows all our needs) as well as the wisdom that He gives us to do His work. We also praise the Lord that He gives us our health so we can serve Him with all our strength, to adore Him in spirit and in truth with all our hearts, and to glorify Him in everything that we do. The Lord is Good!

As we press on, please continue to pray for the following prayer request, my wife’s physical need with her varicose veins and blood circulation as we traveled. Also a special request, we need to be on the field by January 2019, Lord willing. We pray that the Lord will move the hearts of His people to make this happen. We humbly plead to all the churches we have presented, and not supporting us at the moment, to pray, consider and reconsider in encouraging us with support.

  • Support Levels

Continue to pray as we are on this deputation journey that the Lord will guide us to the right church and have favor along the way in order to obtain our support as soon as possible according to the Lord’s will. Carolina Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC; Corinth Baptist Church in Loganville, GA took us on for support and also an anonymous supporter.  As of now, with the new supports, we are about 40%. Praise the Lord!! Our minds, our hearts and our spirits are in Costa Rica but our bodies are still here. Our Lord is a sovereign, omniscient and omnipotent God.

  • Safety with Travels

Pray that our Lord, God would protect us on the road. The second week of September from the 9th to 18th we will be going back to South Carolina for meetings and conferences; we will be in Northern Virginia and Georgia from the 1st through the 13th of November.

  • Schedule of Meetings

Pray that our schedule will be full for the rest of this year. So far the Lord has blessed with other meetings in VA, GA, and SC. Our schedule is not full, but praise the Lord for what He is doing, He is in control! For now, the Lord is opening doors for more meetings and conferences next year in GA, SC, NC, and VA.

  • Softness of Attitudes

Pray that our hearts would stay soft, to have a humble attitude, to stay close to God, and focus on Him. Also for the churches that we have been in contact with. Praise the Lord for everything! To God be the Glory, great things He has done, that He is doing and what He will do as we focus our eyes and hearts upon Him.

Thank you for your faithful prayers, kindness and love, but most of all for your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit of God whom dwells in you.
