October 2018 – Prayer Letter

Greetings and peace and love in the name of our eternal God, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As always, we thank our Lord Jesus Christ for taking us on this glorious journey, a journey of endless joy, speaking to our hearts, answering the call that He has given us and accepted the mission that is ahead of us to do His work according to His ways and will. We count it a privilege and an honor to serve the Kings of kings, the Lord of lords, the Architect of the Universe and the Carpenters of all carpenters Jesus Christ. We count it also a privilege to be Missionaries to Costa Rica.

As we keep on pressing on this glorious journey, the month of October has been a blessing as well. On Monday the 1st of October, we left Tampa, FL for Virginia Beach but we stopped in Alpharetta, GA to rest on Monday; then the next day, Tuesday the 2nd we headed to Virginia Beach to prepare for our next journey. On Wednesday the 3rd, we went to our home church Tabernacle Baptist Church where a Fall Revival meeting was going on. On the Saturday the 6th, we headed to North Carolina in Winston-Salem for a Mission Conference at Woodland Baptist Church, Pastor Tim Gammons until the 9th, Dr. Roger Baker of Macedonia World Baptist Missions was the main speaker, he is also the Field Director for Middle East and Europe. On Wednesday the 10th, we went to Gospel Light Baptist Church in Winston-Salem to visit and to stay in their prophet chamber until the 15th due the fact one of our Mission conference was cancelled in Orlando, FL. On Sunday the 14th, in the morning, we visited Northwood Baptist Church, Pastor Allen Barker, in Yadkinville, NC; Pastor Barker is the Brother- in – Law of Dr. Scott Caudill, the Director of Macedonia World Baptist Missions; Pastor Barker invited us back for Mission Emphasis Month next January or February of 2019 (DTBD) where Dr. Caudill will be the speaker. In the evening, we went to Green Valley Baptist Church in Walnut, NC, Pastor Wayne Dunn; Pastor Dunn was gracious in allowing to share our ministry. On Tuesday the 16th, in the morning, we were invited at a Pastor’s Fellowship at Meadow View Baptist Church, Pastor Robert Hutchens, in Winston – Salem; this meeting was a blessing and as a result we have made many contacts for meetings next February 2019. In the evening we went to a camp meeting at Northwood Baptist Church in Yadkinville, NC, Pastor Allen Barker. On Wednesday the 17th, we visited Temple Baptist Church in Lewisville, NC, Pastor Joshua Boles; Pastor Boles was gracious in allowing me to share our ministry and invited us back next February 24, 2019 to formally present our ministry.  On Saturday the 20th, we headed to Silver Creek Baptist Church in Seven Springs, NC, Pastor Jason Watford, for a Mission Conference on Sunday the 21st. On Wednesday the 24th we visited Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle, Pastor Justin Gazaway in Ringgold, GA; I was privilege to share our vision and burden.

From the 28th  to 31st, we were in  Georgia for a Mission Conference at Westside Baptist Church, Pastor Nathan Dorsey, our allocated time was Sunday morning the 28th then we visited Bible Baptist church in Griffin, GA, Pastor John  Sweatte on Wednesday the 31st of October, we were truly  blessed by that visit.

As we press on, please pray and continue to pray for the following prayer request:

PRAYERS

  • As we mentioned in our last prayer letter, we urgently are in need of a minivan to finish our deputation journey. Someone was gracious enough to lend us one until November 9th but we will need another one to keep going until we leave for Costa Rica before next summer, Lord willing !
  • Our health in order to work in His vineyard.
  • As we keep stressing, it is our goal, Lord willing, to be on the field by June 2019. We were planning to go next February to look for a place to live, as well the property for the ministry, but unfortunately we have meetings during that time. We need this miracle for our support of be 100% or more by next May 2019. God is able to make other miracles and we pray that He will; He is able, with Him nothing is impossible. He is good, so good!!
  • Support Levels

One more church took us on for support this month; Woodland Baptist Church in Winston – Salem, Pastor Tim Gammons. As of now, we are at 72%. We are still waiting on other churches, it could be more by our next prayer letter. Praise the Lord!

  • Safety with Travels

Pray that our Lord, God would protect us on the road.

In November we will be in Virginia and Georgia for meetings; in December we will be in Virginia for meetings as well.

  • Schedule of Meetings

For now, the Lord is still opening doors for more meetings and conferences for next February, March 2019 in North Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

  • Softness of Attitudes

Pray that our hearts would stay soft, to have a humble attitude, to stay close to God, and focus on Him not on men neither our circumstances; also for the churches that we have been in contact with and presented. We are excited to see on how the Lord will be working next the year, we are also encouraged and at the same time comforted by His provision, protection and peace.

PRAISE

The Lord is so good in giving us our health, providing and protecting us while we are on the road, despite of setbacks while serving Him.

Praise the Lord for everything! To God be the Glory, great things He has done, that He is doing and what He will do as we focus our eyes and hearts upon Him.

Thank you for your kindness, compassion and love, but most of all for your sensibility to the Holy Spirit of God whom dwells in you. We are deeply grateful for your continued prayers, financial support and being behind our vision to further the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Brethren, may the love of the Almighty God, the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you All. Amen!
