December 2014 Prayer Letter
Greetings and peace in the name of our eternal God, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
As always, we thank our Lord Jesus Christ for taking us on this glorious journey, a journey of endless joy, speaking to our hearts and answering the call that he has given us, to do His work according to His ways and will.
The first week of the month of December, we were on our survey trip through December 6. As we mentioned in our previous prayer letter, the Lord blessed us grandly on our survey trip.
Last year, 2014 was a year to remember with many blessings. We were accepted as missionaries with World Wide New Testament Baptist Mission, went to our survey trip, blessed with three churches that took us on for support, visited many churches, we were blessed with the announcement of our 8th grand child by our daughter. Beside the joy of receiving these blessings, we were also saddened by the parting away of my father on December 31st, 2014.
Now a new year is ahead of us continuing on this glorious journey, pressing on the work that is ahead of us, trusting in the Lord with our hearts opened to serve Him, focusing our eyes and our hearts on Him, leaning on Him for strength and courage, and depending on His Holy Spirit for guidance.
We praise the Lord that He has given us another year for the sole purpose of serving Him with all our strength, to adore Him in spirit and in truth with all our hearts, and to glorify Him in everything that we do. The Lord is Good!!
As we press on, continue to pray for the following prayer request:
- Support Levels
Pray as we are on full time deputation that the Lord will guide us to the right church and have favor along the way in order to obtain our support, so we can arrive on the field by December 2017 or sooner.
- Safety with Travels
Pray that our Lord, God would protect us on the road not only here during deputation but also in Costa Rica.
- Schedule of Meetings
Pray that our schedule will be fill. So far the Lord has blessed with meetings in NYC, NC and Florida for next year.
- Softness of Attitudes
Pray that our hearts would stay soft, to have a humble attitude, to stay close to God, and focus on Him, for the churches we have contacted and also for the people that we have been in contact with in Costa Rica.
Thank you for your faithful prayers, kindness and love, but most of all for your faithful service for our Lord!
Under His Wings Reaching the World for His Glory.
